How to report your claim

Please make sure to notify us within 5 days of the accident.

In case of accident, always ensure safety first

  • Stop your vehicle immediately and turn on your hazard lights.
  • Check for injuries to yourself, passengers, or anyone involved.
  • Call emergency services if needed:
  • Police: 999 or 112
  • Medical emergency (SAMU): 114
  • Fire Services: 115
  • 24-Hour Roadside Assistance & Towing: 211 3030

In the event of an accident

1. Prioritize safety

Immediately stop your vehicle, switch on your hazard lights and place the reflective triangle. Check if you or anyone else involved is injured. Contact emergency services for medical assistance or to secure the scene.

2. Document the accident

  • Take clear photos of the vehicle damage, license plates, the full accident scene, and if applicable, the third party’s insurance vignette and registration plate.
  • Note down the names and contact details of all drivers and any witnesses.
  • If only two vehicles are involved and both parties agree on the circumstances, complete and sign the Agreed Statement of Facts (ASF) form.
  • If there’s any disagreement, please report the accident to the nearest police station.

4. Towing and repair options

If your car cannot be driven, arrange for towing.

 

  • For vehicles under comprehensive cover, you may take your car to your dealership if applicable and for other repairs, kindly take your vehicle to one of our approved garages or workshops and request them to send a repair estimate.

5. Courtesy vehicle & repairs

If your policy includes Loss of Use cover, a courtesy vehicle will be arranged according to the terms of your policy.

In the event of vehicle theft

1. Contact the police

Contact the nearest police station as soon as possible to file an official report. Be sure to get the OB number reference, it will be needed for your claim.

2. Notify Eagle Insurance

Call us on 460 9202 or email [email protected] to report the theft and start your claim. Our team will guide you through the next steps.

In the event of a third-party claim against you

1. Do not admit liability

Avoid admitting fault at the scene. Liability will be determined through the claims process

2. Collect relevant details

Get the other party’s contact, insurance, and vehicle information, along with any witness details.

3. Notify Eagle Insurance immediately

Contact us as soon as possible. We’ll guide you through the claim and handle any legal aspects if needed.

Tip:

Never accept fault or make statements of responsibility at the scene.  Liability will only be determined after a full investigation by your insurer.
